SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — A Puerto Rican man has been charged with murder for allegedly running over his brother-in-law during a family dispute.

Police say Jose Morales Tirado was upset that his wife's brother slapped her during an argument in late August. Police say Morales then used his car to run over her brother Walis Arroyo. Arroyo died three days later.

Charges were filed Wednesday. Morales is being held on $50,000 bond.
