MIAMI (AP) — The Miami Dade College Museum of Art and Design and the Perez Art Museum are just two of the Miami institutions celebrating DWNTWN Art Days, the first of many art festivals coming to South Florida this season leading up to the world famous Art Basel festival. The annual celebration of arts and culture kicked off Friday, with some 130 mostly free events at galleries, hotels and outdoor spaces. The celebration runs through Sunday evening and includes interactive sculptures at Bayfront park and performances at the Adrianne Arsht Center.
