Rand Paul says he’s not too worked up about a Kentucky law that prevents him from running simultaneously for re-election to the Senate and the White House if he decides to do so in 2016. The Tea Party favorite says he is having an “ongoing discussion” with his family about a White House campaign in 2016. According to an average tally by RealClearPolitics, Paul is currently tied with former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee in early GOP presidential polling. A bill that would have allowed Paul to make a dual run for the Senate and presidency died earlier this year in the Kentucky legislature.
