Brietbart’s Ben Shapiro reports that Sen. Rand Paul R-Ky. has responded to his father’s controversial comments about slain sniper Chris Kyle.

“Chris Kyle was a hero like all Americans who don the uniform to defend our country. Our prayers are with his family during this tragic time.”

Ron Paul also tried to clarify his comments yesterday evening via Facebook.
