Rand Paul says he’s ‘interested’ in 2016 presidential run

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., admitted to being “interested” in running for president in 2016, but he said he has not yet decided if he will run.

“That’s classified,” Paul told ABC’s Jonathan Karl when asked if he intended to run. “Am I interested and thinking about that? Yes.” Paul said that he was not “ready to make the decision now.”

“I am different than some in that I’m not going to deny that I’m interested,” he added. “I’m not going to deny that I think we have to go a different direction because we’re not winning . . . we have to think about some different ideas.”
