The Redskins’ eight-man practice squad includes only three players who were with them in training camp and one who is a return member.

Washington finalized its list, which includes receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux, running back Antwon Bailey, tackle Tom Compton, linebacker Darryl Gamble, fullback Robert Hughes, tight end Deangelo Peterson, defensive lineman Jason Shirley and defensive end Doug Worthington.

Worthington spent time on Washington’s practice squad last season; Compton was a sixth-round pick by the team in April and Bailey was cut by them last week.

Three other members have appeared in NFL games: Arceneaux, who played three games with Minnesota last year and spent two years in the Canadian Football League. Gamble played five games with San Diego as a rookie in 2011 — here’s a scouting report on him before that draft — and Shirley has appeared in seven games — three with Cincinnati in 2008 and four with Carolina in 2011. Shirley’s action all have come as a defensive linemen, though he briefly played guard for Cincinnati in the 2009 preseason.

Peterson was cut by St. Louis last week. Here’s a scouting report on him from before the draft. Hughes, an undrafted free agent in 2011, was cut by Tampa Bay last week.

Also, the Redskins placed running back Tristan Davis and fullback Dorson Boyce on injured reserve.
