If the Redskins want a right tackle and opt for another position in the second round, ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper has two names to consider: North Carolina's Brennan Williams and Boston College's John Wetzel.
Of course, the Redskins could opt to re-sign Tyler Polumbus and continue grooming Tom Compton. But if they want to solve this position -- again -- through the draft, Kiper said both Williams or Wetzel could help.
But both come with question marks. The 6-foot-7, 310-pound Williams needed season-ending surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder in October. But he started 22 games for the Tar Heels before the injury and was considered a player who could go high in the draft. In fact, some experts had projected him as a potential first-round pick before he got hurt.
Wetzel, a 6-8, 302-pounder, played left tackle in 2011 before switching to the right side and is considered more of a late-round pick and, therefore, a project. That's what the Redskins already have.
