For the third straight day, Redskins QB Robert Griffin III participated in individual and group work during practice, but whether or not he did more during the full-team work remains to be seen. Coach Mike Shanahan will address the media after practice around 1:30 p.m.

Griffin did more than just throw drop-back passes, which is what he was mostly limited to Wednesday and Thursday during the part of practice open to the media. Friday, while the media watched, Griffin executed a bootleg rollout and pass. He still did not look 100 percent, which would be hard to expect so soon after suffering a Grade 1 sprained lateral collateral ligament in his right knee.

If Griffin does not start, then Kirk Cousins would start. Even the players privately say they don’t think anyone truly knows whether or not Griffin will start.

On Thursday, offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said, they want to see if Griffin can protect himself. They’ll test him out in pre-game.
