INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle now has an app for that.
The BMV said Monday that its customers now can access BMV services through a new app available for Apple and Android mobile devices. The BMV app can be downloaded free of charge from the app store on a mobile device using "myBMV" as search words. Links for both apps are listed on the agency's home page at http://www.in.gov/bmv/.
BMV Commissioner R. Scott Waddell says a growing number of BMV customers are using their phones and other mobile devices to conduct business. He says registration renewals are among the BMV services that can be completed through the app. The app also can identify the nearest license branch with its address and hours of operation.
