Rep. Alan Grayson turned 56 on Thursday, and his opponent, Republican Jorge Bonilla, commemorated the occasion with an “Angry Birds” cake and call for debate.
Happy Birthday .@AlanGrayson! I look forward to debating your embrace of job-killing disaster that is #ObamaCare pic.twitter.com/K8sX2AHxXM— Jorge Bonilla (@BonillaCongress) March 13, 2014
Bonilla, a Navy veteran, court interpreter and conservative blogger, seeks to unseat Grayson in Florida's 9th Congressional District. Grayson was elected to Congress in the 8th District in 2008, but lost his seat in 2010 during the Tea Party wave. In 2012, the Florida Democrat returned to Congress in the newly formed 9th District.
