Rep. John Lewis' upcoming graphic novel "March" will attempt to combine politics and comics on a splashy book tour that will have the Democrat from Georgia mingling with the stars of the publishing world and Hollywood over the next few months.

BookExpo America announced Tuesday that the civil rights leader will share a panel at its New York City event in March with "Bridget Jones" author Helen Fielding and "Outlander" author Diana Gabaldon, moderated by Chris Matthews.

He'll also speak at the American Library Association's Annual Conference in Chicago in June and visit geek heaven at Comic-Con International in San Diego in July.
