Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, said he thought President Obama's "Between Two Ferns" interview with Zach Galifianakis was funny, but said it could have been funnier.

"Some was funny, and some of it really died," he said, when asked about the viral video. "It wasn't as funny as it could have been. They could have made it a little funnier sketch I thought."

Gohmert said he didn't have a problem with Obama doing the interview with Galifianakis, a comedian, even it was criticized by some for being un-presidential.

"I don't criticize the president for doing it," he said. "I don't have a problem if somebody wants to be tongue-in-cheek, and actually, Zach's a pretty funny guy."

Gohmert added that he probably wouldn't do an interview with Galifianakis if given the chance.

"Probably not," he said, chuckling. "Because he doesn't believe in the same things I do, even though I think he's funny."
