Rep. Waxman says he’s ‘sorry’ for losing millions on Solyndra

During a House oversight hearing, this morning, Rep. Henry Waxman D-Calif. said he was "sorry" for losing millions of dollars on Solyndra, but he didn’t sound very contrite.

“I’m sorry Solyndra happened. We lost $500 million,” Waxman said.” It’s a shame but that’s why loan guarantees are provided, because these are risky enterprises and not all of them are going to succeed.”
