Rumor has it, Jeremy Renner shared some big news with Eva Longoria at the Golden Globes.

The actor reportedly revealed that he was going to be a dad.

The "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" star was overheard explaining that his ex-girlfriend is due to give birth next month and that he would "fly in when her water breaks."

"They used to date but it wasn't serious," an Us Weekly source said, adding that the expectant mom is currently living in Jeremy's L.A. home.

According to Us, Eva reportedly was shocked by the news and responded, "I'm so blown away."

Multiple sources have since confirmed to Us that he is indeed going to become a father in a matter of weeks.

Jeremy has always been uber-protective of his private life, and this seems to be no different. One Us source says he's being very secretive about the pregnancy while she is going about her daily routine and not trying to hide it.

If Us is right about the baby, this will be the first child for the "Hurt Locker" star.

My two dads

Elton John and husband David Furnish have become dads for the second time.

Elton announced on his website that the pair welcomed a baby boy last Friday.

Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John was born via surrogate in Los Angeles, Elton wrote.

"Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable," Elton told Hello! magazine. "The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way. It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time; we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement."

They welcomed Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John on Dec. 25, 2010.
