Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s, D-Calif., plan to retake the House just got tougher. The National Republican Congressional Committee is launching a mobile billboard and Facebook campaign today introducing California voters to four of Pelosi’s must-win candidates.

“California families and seniors want solutions that will lower healthcare costs and create jobs, but these Democrat candidates are all running to support the same failed Washington policies that will gut Medicare and raise taxes,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Californians need to know the true agenda of these candidates before it’s too late.”

Each candidate targeted by the NRCC campaign, John Hernandez (CA-21), Julia Brownley (CA-26), Mark Takano (CA-41) and Alan Lowenthal (CA-47), is currently behind their Republican opponent in fundraising. Totals from the most recent filing period are below:
CA-21:
David Valadao (R): $658,617.50
John Hernandez (D): No filing

CA-26:
Tony Strickland (R): $1,006,154.90
Julia Brownley (D): $322,085.29

CA-41:
John Tavaglione (R): $451,991.10
Mark Takano (D): $241,092.98

CA-47:
Gary DeLong (R): $316,910.14
Alan Lowenthal (D): $216,936.52

Each candidate will be targeted by a single mobile billboard truck, which will be cruising around each district. Expect to see them at Democratic campaign headquarters and wherever each candidate campaigns.
