Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign could get pretty groovy.
The New York-based actor responsible for the infamous “Hillary in the House” tune released during the 2008 presidential race is itching to produce an updated 2016 version of the song, according to National Journal.

The actor, Paul McClure, is an avid Hillary Clinton supporter. He wrote “Hillary in the House” to support the former secretary of State in her primary contest against then-Senator Barack Obama, spending a whopping $20,000 of his money to produce a music video for the song filmed in upstate New York.
McClure imagines that a new version of the song would feature a barbershop-quartet-style introduction, he told National Journal‘s Emma Roller in a phone interview.
He also explained that he would keep the original lyrics largely the same, only changing the “2008” line to “Like Tony the Tiger, she’ll be grrreat!”
In a perfect world, McClure would record the video for the song with comedian Jimmy Fallon.
And, the conclusion of his ideal music video would be particularly “awesome.”
“At the end, we would end up at the barbershop again, and hopefully the barber chair would turn, and the newspaper would come down, and it would be Hillary saying, ‘I approve this message,'” McClure imagined. “It would be awesome, right? Dream big.”
It sounds pretty cheesy, but nothing can be as bad as this (right?):
