RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A suburban Richmond landscaping executive faces time in federal prison for tax evasion.

Mark Holpe of Midlothian will be sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court. He pleaded guilty to evading employment taxes in April.

According to federal prosecutors, Holpe was president of Nature's Way Landscaping Inc. before selling a portion of the business in 2007 and becoming the company's treasurer. The company paid employment taxes on one group of 12 employees, but evaded about $326,000 in taxes on another group of 30 who were paid in cash.

Sentencing guidelines call for a prison term of up to two years.
