BARNESVILLE, Ohio (AP) — Former presidential candidate Rick Santorum plans to campaign with a Republican congressman in eastern Ohio.
The Mitt Romney campaign says Santorum will be at a rally with Rep. Bill Johnson on Saturday afternoon at the Veterans Memorial Plaza in Barnesville. Johnson is in a tough race with former Democratic Rep. Charlie Wilson.
Santorum is a former U.S. senator in nearby Pennsylvania. He ran particularly well in eastern Ohio while falling just short of Romney in the March 6 Republican primary in Ohio.
