Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., suggested that Attorney General Eric Holder told President Obama about then-CIA director David Petraeus’ sex scandal before the election, despite claims that the White House didn’t know.

“I’m not sure the president hasn’t– was not told before Election Day,” Rogers said yesterday on Meet The Press. “The attorney general said that the State Department– excuse me– the Department of Justice did not notify the president.  But we don’t know if the attorney general did.”

“There is no evidence of that,” said Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., who was on the show with Rogers.

Rogers, the House Intelligence Committee chairman, said he wants Holder to testify before Congress about the issue.
