In Irwin Pennsylvania today, Mitt Romney criticized President Obama’s comments about small business, questioning the president’s understanding of the American way of life.

“The idea that Steve Jobs didn’t build Apple, that Henry Ford didn’t build Ford Motors, that Papa John didn’t build Papa Johns, that Ray Kroc didn’t build McDonalds, that Bill Gates didn’t build Microsoft. . . to say something like that is not just foolishness, its insulting to every entrepreneur, every innovator in America and it’s wrong,” Romney said.

Romney accused Obama of wanting to “change the nature of America” by raising taxes, weakening welfare reform, and attacking success, and reminding the audience that both Democrats and Republicans used to celebrate entrepreneurship in America.

“That’s the right course for the country,” Romney added. “His course is extraordinarily foreign.”

“We have seen what Obama’s political philosophy brings and we don’t want any more of it!” he continued.
