PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (AP) — The Republican ticket is focusing on Ohio.

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney plans Saturday campaign rallies in Portsmouth and Lebanon (LEB'-uh-nun), while running mate Paul Ryan will be at Youngstown State in northeastern Ohio.

Romney's visit to Shawnee State University in southern Ohio and the Golden Lamb Inn & Restaurant in southwest Ohio will mean the two candidates have been in the state's five major geographic areas and four largest metro areas this week.

The Barack Obama campaign will be back: Michelle Obama in Delaware and Cleveland on Monday, the president in Athens on Wednesday.

The Golden Lamb is owned by Ohio Republican Sen. Rob Portman and his siblings. The GOP hopes Romney will prove to be the 13th president to have visited the inn that dates to 1803.
