Romney: Obama raised taxes on the middle class with Obamacare

Speaking with reporters in Nevada today, Mitt Romney fired back against ads run by the Obama campaign suggesting that he would raise taxes.

“That’s patently, simply false,” Romney said. “By the way, the president has raised taxes on the middle class, as determined by the Supreme Court.”

Romney was referring to the Supreme Court ruling on the Obamacare mandate, which Chief Justice John Roberts explained was constitutional because it was actually a tax.
