Monday has not been a good day for Ronan Farrow.
First we learned that his ratings are worse than sitcom reruns, and now the MSNBC host of “Ronan Farrow Daily” has used the wrong photo in a story about Texas attorney and former state Rep. Ray Hutchison's death.
Keep in mind that in February, Farrow won the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism — after just three days on the air.
Hutchison, the husband of former Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, passed away Sunday at 81.
But Farrow’s producers used a photo of former Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood posing with Kay Bailey Hutchison in the report. Below the photo of the wrong “Ray,” the chyron read “Ray Hutchison 1932 – 2014.”
Dear Ronan Farrow, this is Ray Hutchison:
I offer Kay Bailey Hutchison and her family my deepest sympathy for her loss.
