"Meet the Press" host David Gregory is a longtime connoisseur of hip-hop and he's happy to see Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., is as well. Rubio released his Spotify playlist this week and it included West Coast rapper, the late Tupac Shakur. "He's courageous in picking West Coast over East Coast as a Florida guy," Gregory pointed out to Yeas & Nays. Buzzfeed's Ben Smith wondered about that, too. Right off the bat Smith questioned the senator about his West Coast affections at Tuesday night's Buzzfeed Brews event on Capitol Hill. "The question is why am I not a Biggie person?" Rubio laughed. "I just think Tupac's lyrics are probably more insightful in my opinion, with all apologies to all the Biggie fans," the senator explained.
