The ruble continues to strengthen following a vote by Crimea in the Ukraine to join Russia on Sunday. Both the official Central Bank rate and the market rate shows signs of life for the Russian currency, which fell to a low of 36.66 this month as tensions between Moscow and Kiev heated to a boil over the Crimean peninsula's future.
