Kathleen Turner will indeed be returning to Washington to participate in another play at the Arena Stage. Turner has been cast in "Mother Courage and her Children," as part of the theater's 2013-2014 season, which was announced this week. Turner, who last played the role of Texas liberal Molly Ivins in the sold-out D.C. run of "Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins," will play the title role of Mother Courage. That play is scheduled to run at the beginning of 2014.

Also on tap at Arena: actor Bill Pullman of "Independence Day" and "1600 Penn" fame. Pullman won't be playing a president, but will narrate "Healing Wars," a theatrical dance piece created by Liz Lerman. That run is scheduled for June 2014.
