Officials said that a second suspect connected to the crash that killed a Prince George's County police officer is in custody. Kevon Darnell Neal, 23, was charged with theft of $10,000 to under $100,000. He turned himself in to police Thursday night, Prince George's County police said.

Another man, 25-year-old Kenneth Clark Mitchell, was arrested Tuesday on the same charge, police said.

The charges for both men pertain to a stolen Acura.

The two men were the occupants of the Acura that sped from officers responding to a report of a purse-snatching from a vehicle, police said. Officers Adrian Morris and Michael Risher were following the Acura on Interstate 95 when the cruiser they were in veered off the road and went into a ditch. Morris died, and Risher was injured.
