Senate Approves Nomination Of Baucus As Ambassador To China

The U.S. Senate voted by an overwhelming majority on Thursday to approve President Barack Obama's nomination of Montana Democratic Senator Max Baucus, who has helped steer trade policy with China, as ambassador to Beijing. As voting continued, there had been no "no" votes in the 100-member chamber against his nomination, with more than 90 voting for him.
