OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) — More money is one the way for buses in Ocean City.

Maryland Sen. Barbara Mikulski and Sen. Ben Cardin on Friday announced a $2 million grant through the U.S. Department of Transportation's State of Good Repair Program.

It provides assistance for new and replacement buses, as well as related equipment and facilities.

Mikulski says it will help get residents to their jobs, deliver goods to the marketplace and reduce congestion on roads and highways.
