NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — A sentencing has been pushed back for a man convicted of stealing more than 120,000 email addresses of Apple iPad users.

Andrew Auernheimer had been scheduled to appear in federal court in Newark Monday morning. The sentencing was moved to March 18.

The former Arkansas resident was convicted in November of identity theft and conspiracy to gain unauthorized access to computers. Each count carries a maximum prison sentence of five years.

Prosecutors said Auernheimer was part of an online group that tricked AT&T's website into divulging email addresses including those of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, film mogul Harvey Weinstein and other celebrities.

The group then shared the addresses with the website Gawker, which published them in redacted form accompanying a news article about the breach, prosecutors said.
