< p>DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) — The Arab American National Museum plans to honor the life and work of late Lebanese-American journalist Anthony Shadid with an award and exhibits.

The museum in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn says The New York Times journalist will be honored Saturday with a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award during an annual book award ceremony.

Attendees can view a temporary exhibit of Shadid's artifacts and as well as his entry in the permanent Making an Impact exhibit.

Shadid's wife, Nada Bakri, will accept the award on his behalf.

The longtime correspondent in the Middle East for the Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe and The Associated Press died in February at age 43 of an apparent asthma attack while on assignment in Syria.
