KINGFIELD, Maine (AP) — The Ski Museum of Maine is holding an open house at its home in Kingfield.

The open house is scheduled for Saturday afternoon. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

Visitors will have an opportunity to view the museum's exhibits and share personal ski history stories. The museum will also have some old movies playing, including a slide show of The Sugarloaf 1971 Alpine World Cup.

The Ski Museum of Maine was established in 1995 to preserve Maine's important place in American skiing history.
