MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Miami Beach Police are reporting a slow pace of arrests as the annual Urban Beach Week hip-hop festival winds down.

According to police, 191 people have been arrested from Thursday evening through Monday morning. That's down from 357 arrests during the same period last year.

Police reported 414 arrests for the entire Memorial Day weekend event last year.

The victim of a bizarre attack during the holiday weekend in 2012 remains in a long-term medical facility. Ronald Poppo was blinded when his face was mostly chewed off by a naked man who was then fatally shot by police.

WFOR-TV reports (http://cbsloc.al/1psbzvo ) that Poppo still doesn't like to leave his hospital room or have any visitors except for his doctors and nurses. Poppo was homeless before the attack.
