HAMMOND, La. (AP) — Southeastern Louisiana University plans an open house Jan. 30 to showcase two new non-credit classes focusing on the film industry.
The Division of Extended Studies is sponsoring the session, which will run from 5-7 p.m. at the university's St. Tammany Center, 21454 Koop Drive in Mandeville.
"Introduction to Videography" and "Basic Video Editing: An Introduction to Post-Production Film" will be available in the spring for high school students and adults interested in the film industry.
The open house will be hosted by instructors Sharon Edwards, an independent filmmaker, and Jamie Bass, a telecast producer at the Southeastern Channel.
