CLEVELAND (AP) — The newest addition to Cleveland's cultural scene is about to make its debut.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland is holding VIP previews this weekend. Monday marks the official opening of the $27 million museum in the University Circle education and museum district.

It's a four-story building that rises from a six-sided base to a square top. The building is clad in black stainless steel with a mirror finish that reflects its surroundings.

The building designed by Iranian-born Farshid Moussavi is her first commission in the United States and her first museum.

The museum has been located in four different rental spaces since 1968.
