DENVER (AP) — The Snow King Resort Hotel and Conference Center in Jackson has been sold to a real estate investment firm owned by former San Diego Padres baseball team owner John Moores.

The sale of the 204-room, 158-condo resort to JMI Realty Partners IV was completed earlier this week.

The Denver Post reports (http://bit.ly/QeQXav ) that terms of the sale were not announced.

JMI Realty partnered with Texas-based Benchmark Hospitality to manage the resort's hotel, condos and conference center.

Snow King Resort President Manuel Lopez says in a statement that JMI and Benchmark are a perfect fit for the hotel.

The ski area will remain with its longtime operators - Lopez and local innkeeper Clarene Law.
