SOCHI, Russia (AP) — Johnny Weir is celebrating Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu's gold medal win in Sochi and the threads that helped get them there.

Weir tweeted and posted on Instagram Saturday to say he had a small role in Hanyu's look.

"So honored and proud to have designed your Olympic costume," Weir wrote.
