Coats and mittens may be coming off, but spirits aren’t any higher on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Stocks continued to slide, taking over where Thursday’s selling streak left off. The sell-off wiped out modest early week gains, and cemented a dismal Spring season for investors. Since the season began on March 20th, the Nasdaq composite is down more than 6.3%. Struggling retailer J.C. Penney was the biggest loser on Friday morning, down over 9%.
