MARTINSVILLE, Va. (AP) — A division of the online auction website eBay is recruiting 900 seasonal warehouse workers for its Martinsville warehouse.

GSI Commerce Fulfillment Center packs and ships items for e-commerce retailers.

A spokeswoman for the agency handling the recruiting tells GoDanRiver.com (http://bit.ly/VgWeCI ) that the hiring is one of its largest in Southside Virginia. Martinsville's jobless rate is just under 16 percent.

The jobs will pay between $8 and $10.50 an hour.
