OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Southwest Airlines says it will offer new nonstop service to Atlanta from Will Rogers World Airport beginning in November.

The airline says the new daily flights will be operated by AirTran Airways, which was acquired by Southwest in 2011. The new flight to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport will begin Nov. 3.

Delta also offers nonstop flights to Atlanta from Oklahoma City.

Southwest says the two Atlanta flights will depart Oklahoma City at 7 a.m. and 5:25 p.m. on weekdays. The return flights from Atlanta will arrive in Oklahoma City at 9:54 a.m. and 5:52 p.m. on weekdays.

Southwest now offers direct flights from Oklahoma City to Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Phoenix and St. Louis, though the airline says its Kansas City service will end Aug. 10.
