- "Parks and Recreation" character Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler, commenting on the brains and beauty of Washington's women. (She added, "Why are they all so tall?") Poehler, along with fellow "Parks and Recreation" stars Adam Scott, Aubrey Plaza and Chris Pratt, filmed scenes in D.C. this summer with a number of real-life senators, including Barbara Boxer, Olympia Snowe and John McCain. Entertainment Weekly had a sneak peek of the new episodes.
