"I would have had that water bottle closer, had it been the Gov. Haha. Marco needs an aide."

-- Mitt Romney's former "body man" Garrett Jackson in a tweet during the Republican response to the State of the Union.

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., paused during Tuesday's live broadcast to lunge off-camera for a bottle of water, taking a noisy sip that quickly prompted the night's big meme and Twitter hashtag #watergate.

Rubio took his Internet fame in stride, tweeting a photo of the famous bottle and telling "Good Morning America" Wednesday: "God has a funny way of reminding us that we're human."
