- President Obama's warning to the children attending Monday's Kids' State Dinner at the White House. The lunchtime event was hosted by first lady Michelle Obama, who invited winners of a nationwide healthy recipe contest to dine with her in the East Room. The winning recipes included tongue twisters like the Secret Service Super Salad, the Apple Alien, the Kickin' Chicken Salad and Miss Kitty's Egg Salad Sensation. Before the band Big Time Rush performed, President Obama stopped in for a quick visit. "I had to crash the party because I did not want to miss out on all the fun."
