- Disney CEO Bob Iger's suggestion when Barbara Walters asked what they should do after they both retire. Speaking on ABC's "The View," naturally Iger suggested another ABC show. Iger is retiring in 2015 and "The View" co-host Walters announced Monday she will retire in 2014. She told Monday's live audience that at 83 she is healthy but ready to end her run of 50 years "continuously" on TV. She will remain executive producer of the daytime talk show. "I'm not walking into the sunset," she said.
