DALLAS (AP) — Dallas Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen has been put on injured reserve as he recovers from a lower body injury.

The Stars announced the move Sunday. It is retroactive to Friday, when Lehtonen got hurt in a 4-3 victory at Vancouver.

He was replaced by Richard Bachman. Dallas also called up goalie Cristopher Nilstorp from the American Hockey League.

The Stars host the Calgary Flames on Sunday.
