DALLAS (AP) — Dallas Stars forward Tom Wandell has cleared waivers and will remain with the team's American Hockey League affiliate.

Wandell was with the Texas Stars on a conditioning assignment for two weeks before Friday's move.

He played in the first seven games for Dallas but was a healthy scratch in nine straight before getting sent to the AHL.

The 26-year-old Wandell has 42 points in 218 career NHL games. He had 15 points in 72 games last season. He has four assists in four games with the Texas Stars this season.
