SEVERAL BODIES - AMONG THEM: CHILDREN.. STREWN ACROSS THE GROUND IN POOLS OF BLOOD AS OTHERS RUSH THE WOUNDED INTO AMBULANCES.

A U-N OFFICIAL SAYS THE SHELTER WAS HIT BY AN ISRAELI AIR STRIKE… KILLING AT LEAST TEN PEOPLE AND WOUNDING 35 OTHERS IN THE TOWN OF RAFAH.

AT LEAST ONE U-N STAFFER IS AMONG THE DEAD.

THE SCHOOL HAD BEEN HOUSING SOME 3-THOUSAND PEOPLE.

THE STRIKE COMES A DAY AFTER ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU SIGNALED HE WOULD RE-ASSESS THE OPERATION AFTER THE DESTRUCTION OF HAMAS-BUILT TUNNELS ACROSS THE BORDER.
