A Florida man was arrested after he shot at his horse while intoxicated, authorities said.
About 11 p.m. Monday, Lonnie Wilkerson left a residence on his horse after drinking vodka. He was bucked off the horse and became outraged at it, according to the Levy County Sheriff's Office.
Wilkerson started shooting at the horse with a pistol, but "fortunately, [he] was a not a good shot and missed the horse completely," a sheriff's office news release said.
The horseman was arrested for using a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

A disbarred Dallas lawyer was ordered to return to jail Wednesday after he allegedly trashed his office and vandalized it with obscene drawings, the Dallas Morning News reported.
Thomas Corea was arrested in August because he allegedly stole from clients. He posted bond, but was later ordered out of his office because he wasn't paying rent.
The president of the real estate company that represents the building said that when he came to examine the property, there was obscene "graffiti on every single wall throughout the building" and feces and urine on the floor, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Two Florida men were arrested after they ran through a blocked-off parking lot to pose for and take photos of a sheriff's office helicopter, according to an incident report.
Shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday, Volusia County sheriff's deputies were landing a helicopter when Jason Mayid and Justin Sanford ran through the parking lot and stopped about 20 feet from the chopper.
One of the men posed for a picture and the other took out his phone to take a photograph. The men, who had been drinking, had to be physically escorted away from the helicopter, the sheriff's office incident report stated.
Mayid and Sanford were arrested on charges of resisting without violence and disorderly intoxication.
