Don't Tase me, bro
A Georgia man faces charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct after he pretended that a Taser was his penis and discharged the weapon at passersby.
Meredith Grayson Watson, 44, got into an argument with his wife at a bar -- bartenders told police they were arguing about Watson being drunk -- before putting the Taser down his pants, police told the Athens Banner-Herald.
Watson then went outside and attempted to shock people walking past him on the sidewalk.
"When people would walk by he would shock it at them and would come as close as arm's reach from them and set the Taser off," according to the report. "He scared a few girls so much they crossed the street to get away."
Watson was released on $1,000 bond. No one was reportedly struck by the Taser.
Man loses girl, gets shot
A fight over a clogged toilet left a Lacey, Wash., man hospitalized with a gunshot wound in the chest.
The hospitalized man, in his mid-to-late 20s, rented a room from a man in Lacey, and the two roommates went out for drinks on Nov. 16, according to the News Tribune.
Police said the men drank heavily and brought two women back to the home with them. One of the women used the bathroom and clogged the toilet, angering the home's owner. As the two men argued about the toilet, the women left. The men's altercation then became physical.
During the altercation, the police said, the homeowner shot his roommate in the chest. The roommate was able to escape and was taken by a friend to the hospital.
The shooter was also hospitalized and treated for facial lacerations. - Ben Giles
