A new ad for Sen. Mark Pryor features the Arkansas Democrat clinging to the Bible to make his case for re-election.

"I'm not ashamed to say that I believe in God, and I believe in His word," Pryor says in the ad. "The Bible teaches us no one has all the answers. Only God does. And neither political party is always right."

Pryor is facing a tough re-election campaign, thanks to the political unpopularity of Obamacare and his role in voting for it.

Pryor explains in the ad that the Bible is his "compass" and "North Star" when it comes to making political decisions.

"It gives me comfort and guidance to do what's best for Arkansas," he adds.

Pryor is facing Republican Rep. Tom Cotton in the 2014 election.
